Champaner, a place that captivates one with its history and tranquility is a multifaceted world heritage site that emphasizes how water, one of the most commonly used and found things, is a bond between culture and religion along with the terrain and weather.

At pavagadh, the water represents the goddess Kalika. She represents motherly love and nurturing. But, beyond the myths associated with the mountain, the water smart system keeps their water supply accessible throughout the year which is also used by pilgrims.

It was astounding to visit a site that was far ahead of its time. The history and it's serenity were equally captivating. It's truly remarkable how one simple idea can provide for many.
